BAROQUE ENCOUNTER TRIO
In addition to our variable-sized costumed ensemble, the versatility of Baroque Encounter allows us to present more intimate
programmes as a trio. This is particularly effective for museums,
galleries, music
societies, education programmes, private parties and churches as well as
corporate events and more traditional performance venues. As a trio,
comprising of Glenn Kesby (counter tenor), Lauren Brant (recorder) and Claire
Williams (harpsichord), we usually dress in contemporary concert wear, but anything
is possible...

Baroque Encounter Trio (L to R):
Glenn Kesby
counter tenor,
Claire Williams harpsichord
and Lauren Brant,
recorders
Glenn, Lauren and Claire have
performed in venues ranging from the intimacy of the Handel House Museum
(seating 25 people) to the expansive Fairfield Halls (filled to capacity with
1,600 people), and from London churches to the Chelsea Festival and the National
Portrait Gallery. Their respective
performances have taken them around the UK, Europe and to Australia.
The Trio also present an
educational interactive workshop aimed at primary schools studying the Tudor
period.
